So, if you have never tried kohakutou Japanese candy before, this is a candy rolls in your hand like stones, but when you bite into them you'll have a slight crunch, and find a firm delicious jelly in the center. They are so cool and unique!
These are very easy to store for up to 3-4 months. They love air, so if you keep them in a dry container with lots air, kept someplace in a cupboard they will stay fresh! They will not melt in hot weather, unless it gets above 120 degrees😂. Icy cold weather conditions can make these slightly mushy and tacky, that is because they are becoming moist again just like they were before I had dried them. So, to fix this if it ever should happen to winter orders, or for those who accidentally put the candy into the fridge or freezer- all you have to do is leave them out on a cookie sheet in room temp. Leaving them out in the warm air will dry them out again.
